Thanks for providing the full model number. That helps a lot.
I am assuming error code must be "5E". If so then that implies drain error.

something is clogging the drains. Clean filters etc as per the owner manual and also check the drain hose for kinks. (maybe getting pushed to the back of kitchen cabinet) . If you do not have it download from this site.

SOURCE: SE error code on Samsung dishwasher

Here are the error codes from Samsung's website:

Error Codes spacer.gif If your dishwasher is displaying an error code, please refer to your users manual for an explanation. If you don't have your users manual on hand, you can download it from Samsung's Download Center. To go to the Download Center and download the users manual for your dish washer, click here.
Common error codes caused by installation errors are:

  • 5E which indicates a kinked or bent drain hose
  • 4E which indicates that the water supply valve is closed or not fully open
  • LE which indicates a leak.
I hope that this helps!

How do i fix an SE error code on my Samsung dishwasher

The SE or 5E error code means "Draining Error", which coincides with what you observed. First check the drain hose for an obstruction, especially where it goes into the garbage disposer (and check the garbage disposer port to make sure it is clear too). If that's okay, then you will have to pull the dishwasher out to check the drain pump. Chances are, some foreigh object has gotten into the drain pump, and is blocking or partially blocking the water flow. If everything is OK, then you probably have a bad ECS sensor, and will have to replace it. If most of this is beyond what you want to do, at least check the hose at the garbage disposal end before you call a repairman.

Samsung Dishwasher model DW80F800UWS with Error code 5E or "SE" error code.

The 5E error code on this Samsung dishwasher means a drain error. Most often this is caused by a clogged drain hose, or some foreign object getting caught in the drain pump impeller. But it can also mean you have a bad ECS sensor. If this is Greek to you, then you should probably call a professional dishwasher repairman.

Dishwasher goes to se display during cycle

That's actually a 5E error code. The 5E error code on most Samsung dishwashers means a drain error. Most often this is caused by a clogged drain hose, or some foreign object getting caught in the drain pump impeller. But it can also mean you have a bad ECS sensor if the drain pump and hose are okay.

The Heavy and Quick lights are blinking

If it is a Samsung, which I imagine it is, then you have too much water getting in to your dishwasher during the fill cycle.

The two most common reasons for this error are: 1) too high of water pressure for your house (it should be about 50 to 70 psi, or thereabouts---Note: You'll need a plumber to fix your PRV valve if your water pressure is above 80 psi) or, 2) your water inlet valve on the dishwasher is bad and letting too much water come in during the fill cycle.

Try to reset the error by turning off the circuit breaker for your dishwasher for about 5 minutes, and then turn it back on and see if that clears out the error. Then, try running another load and if you get the error again, check your water pressure and your water inlet valve.

Good luck!

SE error code on Samsung dishwasher - ...any suggestions?

Hello,

This means that the Dishwashers has detected a condition it needs to check. Press "Cancel" to clear the display and to stop the beeping sound, then try turning the Dishwashers off and on again.

If you still see the "
SE error code," turn off the power to your Dishwashers and wait five minutes before turning it on again. If you hear the beep or see the "SE error code" when you try to washing again, please call your authorized provider for service.

Hope this help?.

thanks for visit.
