You will have to find a used on on Ebay or Craigslist. To purchase a new one, it would cost you more than the stereo costs new (that's why it's an anti-theft measure!).
Hello if you still want to solve this, This rquires removing the front panel. Thee are 2 screws inside the coin holder underneath the music panel. you wil be able to see them only if you bend down and see it. Remove them and the front centre panel will come out. then the screws that hold the music player will be visible. The you can remove them and slide th music unit out to fix your pod cable.
To get the STR-DE845 ( or STR-DE945 ) out of DEMO MODE - Turn unit on and HOLD POWER BUTTON FOR A FEW SECONDS ...Turn unit off and when you turn it on again it should be reset ...It worked for me. ( Note : You may need to do this procedure before it goes into its actual demonstration of features ... Press and hold the power button immediately when it initially starts scrolling it's DEMONSTRATION MODE message . )
You need to pull the unit out of the dash and pop the top and manually release the disc. If you don't have the keys for the side tabs (if it's not Iso-mounted) check a local car audio shop. They generally can be very helpful. Hope this helps. If your not sure how, post a comment with the make and model car and I can help you further.
You can adjust the sound settings for bass, middle, treble, and sub out separately for each source, tuner, CD, AUX, etc. The adjustment procedure is on page 26 of the owners manual. If you do not have a manual, you can download a PDF copy here at Crutchfield. They show the Bahamas as a discontinued m,odel but the manual is still in their database.
Here is a link to your owner's manual:
