Okay. figured out the last numbers were how many pages had been printed before I installed the maintenance kit. Now my printer won't work. Any suggestions?

That's very weird, I have been thinking about your problem a lot.
What I am wondering is if somehow there is a piece of paper between the print head and drum, but that should be moved out of the way by the wiper blade assembly.
There is a compressor that creates the pressure to spray the ink onto the page. That could have failed, or one of the hoses disconnected.
The other thing is the print head itself. But if this was a sudden thing, it really isn't likely the print head jets failed all at once. That would be bizarre considering the amount of jets on that print head.
If there were an electrical problem with the print head, the machine would definitely give you a fault code, and if the print head was not going into the proper position you would no doubt get an 07,xxx.xxx code.
I have to conclude the compressor or a bad or somehow disconnected hose. The compressor is near the ( looking from the front) the right side , near the top rear of the machine, It is a black box and has a hose with a wire wrapping around it.

On the right side of the machine. There is an encoder mounted to the end of the drum shaft. They are known to become contaminated with the silicon lubricant from the maintenance kit. That causes the drum to spin off speed somewhat randomly. You can take it off the shaft and clean it well with alcohol. Sometimes they need replaced, but if it is as intermittent as you are suggesting cleaning it should take care of your problem. Not all that uncommon.

They sell a lot of maintenance kits that way.I worked for a major Tampa are copier company for 10 years and they used every part until it just quit. However, you should line up a maintenance kit at the ready.Sometimes a counter will shut down the copier when it gets to the point where they want it to stop.

There is no reset. Xerox never designed a supply reset for this machine.
If you installed a new one, either 1) you've got a bad one (get it replaced under warranty) 2)
the chip is not being read (due to drum maintenance camshaft cracked and out of position

the maintenance kit keeps your melted crayons from sticking to the roller. You know the smell... and no you need a new one.
