What is a underscore on a key board ?

It should be an uppercase minus symbol.

To type an underscore? Hold down the Shift key and tap the key between the 0 (zero) and the plus sign on your keyboard (not the keypad, the main keyboard).

To use the underscore key on your keyboard you will hold the <SHIFT> button, and press the keyboard key that is located beside the "0"(Zero) key.

Underscore looks like is small line like this _ . The key is located beside of 0 (zero) key and for you to use and get underscore you will need to press and hold "Shift" key and line key beside of 0(zero). Hope it helps.

Hello,To create an underscore, hold down the Shift key and press the " - " (hyphen) key to the right of the 0 (zero) key on the top row of your keyboard.

The minus key (-) to the right of the zero key (0) at the top of yuor keyboard, is what you're looking for. If you hold down the Shift key and then press that Minus key you will create an underscore (_).

verrry simple all you have to do is in the very bottom left corner is a button that looks like an arrow going up hit thats shift another way is to hit the alt key then e

have you use the cobination of shift key when using this dash and equal key

The key combination can vary depending on what language and keyboard files you're using. However, the easiest way might be to use Windows own Character Mapper to copy the underscore to the clipboard.

Run CHARMAP (in XP, from Start menu -> Run and in Vista from Start button -> start search)

Find the underscore character, and copy it to the clipboard. Go to where you need it and use CTRL-V to paste the copied underscore into wherever it is you need it.
