SOURCE: Food in freezer is thawing, compressor very hot to the touch
It sounds like the motor to the circulating fan is wearing out . This fan is hard to diagnose as it will spin the blade , but as you said it will not spin fast enough to circulate air thru the freezer and refrigerator. The motor is DC non brush type. It will cost a minimum of $300.00 to repair/replace this fan assembly, but it is worth that compared to replacing the refrigerator

First check the fan and see if it is spinning. If not get to it and give it a nudge. Some WD 40 may be in need, The Raz

When you say condensor you probably mean compressor. If the big metal motor at the back is making that noise that is your compressor. The compressor is either bad or the relay for the compressor is bad. I recommand replacing the relay first since it is your cheapest solution and then if that doesn't solve it then you can decide if you want to replace the compressor or not as this is not something you can do yourself and can be quite costly to do if you have a technician do it. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: door seal not tight on upright freezer
Check the door sits straight and square on the front. You can "adjust" with the heel of your hand to make it sit flat against the frame. Even a poor seal shouldn't make frozen food thaw - check and clean the condenser and fan
