GW712 will not agitate or spin, 1st and 7th lights lit, beeping every second.

When the GW712 washing machine's program starts, water flows into the tub, but it does not agitate. When I ffwd through the program to the spin cycle, I can hear and see the tub moving a little, trying to spin up, but it doesn't actually rotate. The machine will then halt, begin beeping every second, and the 1st and 7th (of 8) lights remain lit.

Hi do you know if a superseded rotor sensor has been utilised for the GW712 model product 93200-A. ?? My original sensor was a 3 wire and the new replacement part is a 5 wire.
I have replaced the sensor and fault is still up.
If the a re-set of the system required after fitting a new sensor ?
    Cheers Nige

    Hi Nigel,
    All sensors are 5 wire.
Phase 7 sensors are different in shape & with all purple wires.
No other adjustments are needed when replacing rotor sensor.

Your Error code is 130
130. (10000010) Phase 1 to 6 Single Rotor Position Sensor Error
The Motor Controller has found an error in the pattern received from the Rotor
Position Sensor. Likely causes of this fault are a bad connection on the harness
between the Rotor Position Sensor and the Motor Controller, or a faulty Rotor
Position Sensor.
Primary Source: Wiring.
Action:
1) Check for corrosion on the edge connector of the Rotor Position Sensor and
the Motor Controller module connector.
2) Check the contacts on the rotor positional sensor end of the hall harness to
see if any have been damaged. (Each set of contacts in the socket has two
wipers. If the distance between these wipers varies between different
contacts, replace the rotor positional sensor harness).
Secondary Source: Rotor Position Sensor.
Action:
Check the Rotor Position Sensor with an R.P.S. tester. Replace if faulty.
Tertiary Source: Motor Controller module.
Action:
Replace Motor Controller module.

SOURCE: Washing machine stops mid-cycle, water doesn't drain

Sounds like you have a bad lid switch, or the plastic plunger on the lid that engages the lid switch is broke. if the plunger is broke, it is cheap, and only 2 screws to remove and put new one on. if that is not broke, check the lid switch. This model is a lid switch, and lid lock in one. You can test it before replacing it if you have a meter. you need to hinge the lid up to check and replace the lid switch. use a putty knife, on each side between the top and top of the front panel. slide the putty knife in one side, it will hit a bracket if your in the right spot. press in, and lift on that side of the top. do the same on other side, just don't let go of the first side or it will latch again. then swing the top back, the back side is on hinges. the lid switch is on the right side attached to the top. unplug washer, remove the 2 wires on the switch and check continuity. there should be continuity, or "open" when the lid is closed, and no continuity, or "closed" when you open the lid. if it is "closed" even when lid is closed, replace the lid switch. let me know if you have any further questions, shane.

My washer did not drain and start to beep every second

Hi just read your posting. If your machine is beeping then a series of lights will be lit and these lights will be in a row of 8 lights.Starting from the left to right on the row which lights are lit when the machine is beeping,Is it the 2nd and 4th or the 1st and 7th ---etc---?Try this also if your machine is not draining.Bail some water out by hand from the machine ,enough to lean the machine back so you can look under the machine. Now when you can see under the machine ,look to the front right and you will see a black fan. This is your pump. Now turn the fan a few times to loosen the pump. The fan should turn freely. Now put the machine back on its feet and select a spin cycle and push start. The machine should start to drain. Please reply on how you got on and with the information on the lights that are lit.Looking forward to your reply.
