I have D-link 2750U (modem *** router). I am switching from BSNL to Hathway (ISP). Hathway does not supports ADSL. Suggest a work around!

ADSL modem/routers can only route from adsl line, no way you can use it as normal router, maybe ISP can provide you with its own modem router...

A friend of mine has this D-Link DSL-2750U router & is trying to connect his cable internet to the router but failing to do so. We suspect it is a purely ADSL router & does not support ethernet connection...

You need a router which connects to ethernet..ADSL is connected by RJ45(Telephone connection) ... Many cable companies include a router in the Modem (Verizon) others need a router to do wireless which gets connected between the PC and the Modem . the DSL-2750U is well over $2000.00.. a normal wireless router is $50-$100... a regular router gets connected by ethernet to Modem and router ,, then has 4 other connectors .. ehternet to PC.. Also requires power supply. .. wireless has to be setup for the software.

Hi sir, I want to configure DLINK 600 dir wireless router in my hathway connection. Pls help me sir.

Login in using your browser and go to the wireless settings and set-up a wireless password/key. Remember the key because each device will now need it to connect. You can also turn OFF Broadcast SSID and your network name will not be shown on anyone's device. You must remember the network name when using this method.

You do not need the disc. Using you browser, login into the router using the default IP 192.168.0.1 unless this has been changed and you should be able to configure your router.
