Unisntall the software that came with the camera and reinstall them. If the computer asks for drivers, insert the cd that came along the camera and install the drivers. Alternately, you can use your laptop's card reader port to transfer pictures. Just take out the memory card from the cam and put it in the card reader slot. Have any questions, write back.
this s quite complicated prb...does u r cam fel frm u r hand anytym???if it s so...then its better u giv it to service...or it be a prb with the software...u better install it again...if it s not detecting then ask help frm the service provider of u r cam!!!
I just had the exact same problems today, I found this post by searching the Internet for solutions. =) By fiddling around I found a solution that worked for me. If you hold the lens once they're "down" as they are spazzing out, gently but firmly keep your grip so that the lens is flat against the rest of the camera as it tries to expand forward. Keep holding and wait until the camera turns off by itself. Then turn it back on, and voila! It worked for me, the blurriness was gone and I could zoom again like normal.
