Not a great solution but I have been able to get the pictures from this camera to open in Photoshop only. Still have not figured out what is wrong with the JPEG files.
It should IF the Craftsman opener is also of the rolling code type. Some openers use rolling code technology and some do not. You need to cross reference the model number of the craftsman opener with the remote to see if they are compatible. You didn't give the opener model number here so there is no accurate way of telling. Most Sears openers over the past few years are rolling code type.
I would contact the manufacturers for help with this problem. Chamberlain has a Technical Support Hotline at 800-528-5880. Have your model number. You should also contact the camera manufacturer for help with this matter. Unplugging would sure defeat your protection.

Gently push tab back down Next: Look at circuit board, locate double arrows Follow directions: "please press "RESET" after replacing battery" I just touched the metal flow solder plate (small circle with squiggles) above the words "RESET" with a small screwdriver TA-DA...it works
unplug unit from power.Check fuses inside unit on left side .Maybe underneath power supply board but you should be able to access them from top of unit ..replace with same type only if uses are good ..Then unit needs repair .take to your local repair shop ..
