Do not disturb setting

Press the "do not disturb" button on the base.

maybe a stuck button try running your fingers over all the buttons making sure none are stuck down

Feature # 8 5 Do Not Disturb Off

The feature should't reset itsself after you enter feature #85 (or press the DND button again). A co-worker isn't accidently turning it on are they?
You might also check if the DND button (if programmed on the set) is stuck down.

Feature 85 puts do not disturb on the phone and feature # (pound) takes it off

Press the "do not disturb" button on the main base station.

Feature 69 is priority call.

Feature 85 is DND
To cancel a feature you need to insert a "#" before teh feature number, example:

to cancel DND:
press feature"#85"

For GE 6.0: There is a button on the base (NOT the phone), you need to press it once again to turn off Do Not Disturb

For GE 5.8 GHz: 1. Pick up the phone handset and dial *98.
2. Press 2 to disable Do Not Disturb.
3. Once you hear the confirmation that Do Not Disturb has been disabled, you may hang up the phone handset.

There is a button on the main base that says " Do not disturb" my 4 year old son must have pushed it. It was an easy solution.

You can try the below steps in order to turn off Do Not Disturb. For GE 6.0: There is a button on the base lower right corner  (NOT the phone), you need to press it once again to turn off Do Not Disturb
