If you have a manual, look up RECALL or FLASH or LINK. Specifically Feature 70 and FEAT 71. In your spare button set, you probaly have gray buttons labeled CONF/TRANS and LINK. Now you use them depends on how you are transferring calls. Are you on Centrex or do you have 3 way Conference calling from the telco? That's the one where you can establish a 3 way call and hang up and the other two parties stay connected. If you have that, you'll use the LINK button to get second dial tone, dial your number, and press LINK again to establish a 3-way. LINK time is defaulted at 600 mS, and is adjusted in A 4. Misc programming under LINK. You may just have 3-way calling, and that means the middle party has to stay on the call.
If you don't have 3-way conferencing, you can use the system to conference (using two lines), and the CONF/TRANS button. There may be some disconnect supervision (ie DS cabinet) issues, Supervised/Unsupervised programmnig changes, and transmission losses in conferencing, so your mileage may vary. Best would be maybe to conference with a
VoIP trunk or other lossless facility. Anyway, you put the first call on hold, make the second call, then press CONF and the held line to establish a 3-way. At this point, if you have Disconnect Supervision, you can press conference again and leave the call, or put the call on HOLD to keep it on your phone and the other 2 parties can still talk to each other.
