What size screws do i need for mounting a sharp lc-42d-65u

am not sure on size service manual doesnt say but there 2 1/2 long.

Tries the hardware store like Home Depost,ACE Hardware,get machine screws.Short 4" and the long one Should 6".That my estamate.Want Exact measurement try Ebay.com for the package sale for LCD tv bases.

They are metric screws, you van get them at Lowe or HD, try M5 or M6. they are about 35cent each so you can try difference length.

Just make an educated guess judging by the size of the bolts you do have, whether they are too big or too small, or you could measure with a measuring tape by measuring the head of the bolt. Then take those measurements to your local hardware or other store and either you will be able to find one you feel confident about size wize or you can find someone to help you. As far as specific bolts go there really isnt a difference, as long as you get a decent size, if its a little too big it will be ok as the threads will just cut their way in regardless.
