WD-52525-Code 34-Sound OK-No picture!

The lamp cover is not installed properly or the lamp door switch isnt working thats what causes the 32 error.

replaced 2 capacitors 3300u/35v. At the power board.

do not tuch the rest of the chassis...............

usually with that model when you get a 34 eror code for lamp abnormality, its directly related to the capacitors on the Power Pwb. You can get the V26 Power PWB repair kit at the following link which repairs that issue. It contains the replacement High temp capacitors with the board location numbers and PWB identification as well as the service manual on CD. Heres the link its under their repair kit ctegory.

press the menu and input/device on the set both in together and hold for 5 seconds to see if the led will blink a two didgit blink code such as 3 blinks a pause then four blinks for a 34 code. Then let me know. respond to this same post when replying.

Replace both 3300uf capacitors on the PWB thats a common cause with that model when it displays a 34 code which is lamp abnormality. if you need more information and I can psot a link where you can get the kit to repair your set with full instructions.

There are two 1000uf 16V capacitors on the PWB that cause that problem code 34 lamp abnormality. If you need more info let me know.

the capictor problem is mostly for WS models

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.

For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.

Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:

12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected

check that you did not bend you connections on the lamp housing
when you reinstalled have seem this happen

do you get an error code? hold the MENU and DEVICE buttons when turning on the TV and get error code
