Uploading pictures to my computer

Recently, I can not upload pictures from my S3000 Fujifilm camera to my computer. This started about a montha ago. I can use the memory card and get the pictures on my computer that way, but don't want to. I thought it was the USB cord, but I just got a new one and it still won't upload pictures.

I've tried to reinstall this camera to my system, but only see a 700 series for Fujifilm as a choice. I've also noticed that a message pops up saying I can run this devise faster using...what ever port the computer suggests. I haven't done this yet.

Please advise asap...I use these pictures in the work. Thanks

I am having the same problem. I reinstalled all the software. Followed the directions.........but when I turn camera on and plug in USB cable in to the PC nothing happens. I think it might have something to do with the drivers, when I look in the Control Panel/System/Device manager there is a big yellow question mark. But I know the drivers were installed during the install process. thanks

Maybe the word is UPLOAD photos to computer

Upload, download, sideload, the point is to get the pictures from your camera to your computer. For now I'll call it downloading.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I cant take a picture with my FUJIfilm Fine Fix A340. Card full.

You need to clean some space to your card by uploading the pics to a computer or deleting them from the card. Or you can buy a new card.

Problem Uploading pictures

Make sure Lock Unlock button on memory card is in UNLOCK position.

Sometimes sliding the card into computer slot moves the button. Be careful to put it in straight.

My Olympus FE-170 won't upload pictures.

Format your camera's internal memory and also format any memory cards you insert.
Use a program called Recover4All to see exactly what is in your camera's internal memory.
Then insert a memory formatted memory card and take some pictures. see if they will upload.
