Im a routine buyer
it could be a fuel blockage or it could be that the main running jets in the carby are blocked you may have to remove the carby & strip it down & blow it out with compressed air, but check for a fuel blockage first........hope this helps......cheers.
it should be fine . remove the spark plug and crank it over . .after all the oil has spit out .replace plug and try to start . before doing any of this check the oil level , you may have to add some.......... One idea to try. I noticed with my grind & brew that the moisture never evaporated from the inside top of the machine. Since that cannot be good over a long term, I have started leaving the top open during the day after I clean the machine in the morning. Your problem is why I started doing that. Why don't you try leaving the top open for a couple of days and see if drying the machine out doesn't cause some of that gunk to dry out?
