Bad grounds are common and need to be resoldered. Next you may already have a few bad capacitors that will need replaced. If you can locate the audio output IC, you should check in this area for bad capacitors and bad grounds. 99% of the time a bad ground and bad capacitors will offer you goofy problems in a TV. So take heed and inspect, resolder and replace those capacitors. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support!
Connect the TV directly to cable box to make sure the TV and cable box are ok. If you have picture then the receiver is no good. Some Denons have problem with HDMI board (digital unit).
i know your problem. its an inverter loose connection from CCFL to inverter output. back of your LCD inside the TV. try to remove and re-connect again. be sure no power and AC is unplugged. [email protected]
Sounds like your picture tube has went out,, or maybe something simple,, to fix,, i would at least let a tv shop check it out ,, worth a chance ,, nothin 2 loose,, good luck
