My Hampton Bay WL-108-A transmitter works with new battery CR2025 I think but then fails within a day. Suggestions?

You may have a stuck button so it is operating a signal all the time

A CR2032 is better.

Is a CR2025 the same as a CR2032?
For as long as either fits in the battery compartment, the CR2025 and CR2032 may be used interchangeably with minimal effect although the CR2032 would probably last slightly longer simply because it has a higher capacity (mAh).

CR2025 VS. CR2032 - Microbattery

Makes sure the batteries are good quality, are fresh and have 3.2 volts when new. Also distance between the units matters.

Sony pcvrx514 cmos battery part number

Hi
This appears to be a desktop machine, and most motherboards use a CR2032 type coin style battery.
If you can get the battery off the motherboard being careful not to damage any part of the motherboard then the type and voltage of the battery is usually engraved on the metal case.
If this not the case then compare the physical dimensions - very carefully - between your battery and a CR2032 and if they correspond try the CR2032 before looking elsewhere.
Cheers

Didn,t save the bios setup

Hi there,
Probably Your CMOS Battery (CR2032 button Cell) on the mother board, is low, which helps to save your BIOS settings and keep the clock ticking even when PC is switched off. You can remove the battery and replace it with CR2032 button Cell. It happens, if you keep your PC off for more days.

How to change cmos battery?

the COMS battery is part of the motherboard, in most PCs they are inserted in a removable slot, the battery is a watch cell the size of a Dime and can be replaced (the battery serial/model # may be CR2032)
In some they are fixed in the motherboard, it's hard to remove it in this case.
u need to open the PC box to look for the battery, it can be easily detected if you can view ur complete motherboard.
