Often things gets better by updating for Sony Ericsson's phones. You can get the software from http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/detailed/updateservice/xperiax8?cc=gb&lc=en
If the link doesn't work, visit sonyericsson homepage and from support you can get it.
the safest way is by using the Software Updater which comes along with the SE PC Suite. you can find it in this link: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/phones/topic/updateserviceapplication/w800i?lc=en&cc=gb

I talked to one of the support people and they told me to try to update my software. He also said that if that does not work, to call Sony Ericsson and decide where to get the phone fixed because it is an internal problem unless you guys have a crack in the screen. We'll see how that works:)
