Razor e200 My Razor e200 scooter worked fine last year. I left it in the garage over winter and I plugged it in for about a day and a half, and the scooter barely runs. The wheel slowly runs if I don't stand on the scooter but if I stand on it, there isn't enough power to move me. I've tried charging it multiple times but it doesn't work, and also, the green light on the charger never turns back on, it only stays red. Even if I've had it plugged in for a week, it will still be red.

Hi, check all the connections are clean. It could be the charger is done but some batteries when they get left for a long period without charge they won't take a charge any more. Disconnect from power supply before attempting any inspection. Check the wheels are turning freely and not binding. Then last of all the motor may have to be checked.

Testimonial: "Thanks. I unhooked all the sables and everything and cleaned them and reconnected them. The scooter is plugged in now so I will know sometime tomorrow if it is charging properly now or not."

SOURCE: have an e100 razor electric scooter. it has not

The batteries are dead. The battery in these scooter need to be kept charged or if not in use for a long time charged every 3months. Otherwise, like what to you, they will go dead. The chemicals in the battery have deteriorated to the point where it won't hold a charge. Replacement batteies are available at:

i had the same problem with mine and it ended up being that one of the batteries was bad, there are two 12v batteries wired in series under the seat, usually you can tell which one is bad by looking at them, one of the batteries will be swelled up

E300 electric scooter battery,

The scooter uses batteries specifically designed for deep discharge applications. If your new batteries are not lasting then they may only be suitable for standby or backup type applications like for your house alarm system or garage door opener when the mains power goes out.

This could be a sign of a dying battery, although it charges and lights the green light it cannot maintain enough juice to power the machine when it has weight on it.
