WIRLPOOL DISHWASHER DU1055XTVS1. ONLY THING IT WILL DO IS FILL WITH WATER. WONT DRAIN OR TURN ON. ANY IDEA.

Sounds like a plugged drain pipe to me. Remove the dishwasher drain pipe under your sink and attach a wet dry vac to the drain pipe, then see if you can evacuate your dishwasher using the vac. Make sure all the drain screens are clean and start the dishwasher discharging into a pail, if this works clean the plumbing drain under the sink

Have a Samsung dishwasher DMS300TS displaying E3 error. Manual says blocked drain but all is clear and impeller moves freely. Any clues?

Do you have a drain vent that goes up to your Counter/Sink next to your faucet? It's a called an Air Gap or dish washer drain vent. Sometimes those get clogged.
Also, make sure your drain hose does not get pinched when you move the dishwasher back into place. Hope that helps
Good luck

My new Samsung dishwasher has a HORRIBLE smell

There are 2 possible explanations for this, either the dishwasher has a buildup of food particles and grease in the pipes and pumps and that is starting to decay. Get a dishwasher cleaner and run it through a cycle. You can find several different brands, Finish seems pretty popular, at your local grocery store. The other possible source of the smell is sewer gas backing up into the dishwasher. This happens because the waste water connection from the dishwasher is linked into the pipes under the sink after the P-trap. Take a look under your kitchen sink, locate the connection where the dishwasher wastewater pipe connects to the sink pipes leading to the main stack. Now follow the pipes from the sink drain down there will be a P- trap that prevents sewer gas from backing up into the house, your dishwasher connection should be between those two. If your P-trap is between the dishwasher conncetion and the sink drain then you are getting swere gas flowing into your dishwasher and this is what you are smelling. If this is the case have a licensed plumber come in and reconfigure the pipes so the P-trap is after the dishwasher connection and the smell will stop. It shouldn't take a plumber long and the parts are cheap. Hope this helps.

We have a new dishwasher, been ran twice and it smells terrible and stays soaked inside

A large object is lodged inside the drain pipe and will not allow water to drain.
Have someone remove the clog and run a empty cycle to flush more deposits.
Hope this helps!

I have a samsung dishwasher dms300trs. it is showing an error f3 .I wanted to know what does this error mean and how do i fix it.

un plug from mains and turn off water supply and remove the water pipe. leave water off the unit. and plug unit back on at mains and turn on. using lowest setting turn on using this you should hear it moving about inside and a pump sound. if you dont hear a pump sound turn off and check that the drain pipe is not blocked. it sounds dirty but if you can blow down the drain pipe with the unit off it should be easy to blow down if not then its blocked inside. for that you will need to clean it out. here is a link to the pdf for the dish washer SAMSUNG DMS300TR User Manual hope this helps.

My samsung dishwasher will not drain? What could be causing this problem. We checked the line and it is not plugged.

when you first start the dishwasher the first thing it will always do is drain, does it make the normal draining sounds or is it a low pitch humming noise? if its a low pitch humming something is stuck in the drain pump like a peice of chicken bone or glass, if it sounds normal then there is a blockage somewhere and 9/10 times its the little drain spiggot that the drain hose plugs onto under your sink, they often block up as the pipe diameter gets smaller there

E3 water drainng error

Some drain problems come from the washer drain hose not being high enough to allow for the water to fill in the dishwasher. Make sure the hose is held as high as the washer top as possible before it drains into the sink drain pipe. A good example is your cloths wash machine the drain hose comes from the bottom of the machine then it goes up to the drain that is higher than the basket. This keeps the water level high enough to wash clothes. The dishwasher works the same way. The drain hose must be slightly higher or as high as the needed level in the machine to work. In most cases as high as the dishwasher top or close to it. Simple raise the drain hose.

My the dishwasher will not drain. The pipes are not blocked or kinked. If I shake the pipe the dishwasher will drain. But I cant do that all the time. Any suggestions?

Hi..

If your dishwasher will not draining you need to check this

  • Check sink drain and drain hose for restrictions
  • Unjam the motor
  • Unjam the pump
  • Check the drain valve
  • Check the drive belt
  • Test the timer motor
  • If you have a brand new dishwasher or garbage disposer, check the knock out plug on the garbage disposer.
Good luck !!!

Dishwasher not draining

Simple......the new disposal has an inlet pipe that the dishwasher drain hose attaches to. But remember...YOU MUST KNOCK OUT THE PLUG in the inlet pipe or the dishwasher water just backs up into the dishwasher.
