Plz help how to start my motion eye camera on my sony vaio vgn-cr12gh/b
We need to determain if your camera is still installed properly. Click the start button now just above it you will see a rectangle search box in that type device manager click enter now in that list you need to find your camera (Imaging Device) & see if it's installed. if there is a arrow next to it this means there is something wrong possibly uninstalled or needs a driver update, so right click on it then left click on update driver hopfully that helps

Have a look in device manager
Press the Windows key (bottom left of the keyboard} and at the same time press the R key, now in the search box that appears - type devmgmt.msc
have a look under imaging systems click on the + sign and see if you have a Camera listed
Also on Sony they should have supplied an application for the camera
maybe called ArcSoft WebCam Companion - see if you have that program folder - listed at all

If the Camera Driver in the Computer is missing, the Motion Eye Camera will not work.
You will need to re-install the Camera Driver for the Camera to work.

Download the Camera Driver to a folder in the Computer, the open the folder where the file is downloaded. After that, double click on the file to begin the installation. Please follow the onscreen instruction to complete the installation. After installing the Driver, restart the Computer. This should fix the issue and the Camera should work normally.

Hi,
First, you need to try re-installing the Camera Driver and Applications to fix the issue.
Click this link to download the Camera Driver for the Computer.
Please download the file to a folder in the Computer. Then, please open the folder where the file is download and double click on it to begin the installation. Please follow the onscreen instructions to continue the installation process. After installing the Driver, please restart the Computer for the settings to take the effect.
If the issue still persists, please try re-installing the Camera Application in the Computer.

Please download and install the Camera Application in the Computer. Please make sure that you restart the Computer after each installation for the settings to take the effect. Re-installing the Camera Driver and Camera Application should fix it.
If this did not fix the issue, please open the Device Manager. (to open the Device Manager, press the Windows Logo + R Keys together, this will open the Run window, in the Run window, please type DEVMGMT.MSC and press the Enter Key. On the Device Manager window, please check if the "Imaging Devices" is listed. If listed, please try re-installing the Camera Application again. If the Imaging Devices category is missing even after re-installing the Driver, you may need to restore the computer to the factory defaults to check if it is hardware related.
