Check the power adapter with a volt meter. The adapter is rated at 16 volts AC - mine puts out close to 18 volts AC.
Mine did the same thing - the right part of the phone (with the 350 on it) slides into the base - it must have come loose. I slid the part with the LCD display to the right, then back to the left (plugging it back in), and it worked (lcd and lights came back on).
If this doesn't work, and the AC Adapter checks OK, then you probably have a capacitor on the circuit board inside the phone that went bad. Unless you can replace electronic components (or are willing to send it away to be repaired), the phone will not ring, but you may still be able to answer it by hearing the other phones ring.
