Thermostat should be at base of dishwasher next to heating element and looks like this part.

Hello,
You seem to have a blockage,have you checked the filters lately.Also check the drain hose and the pipe that the drain hose goes into,if they are clear then the blockage is down in the bottom of the dishwasher in the pipes or the drain pump.
