The best way to clean or repair your keyboard is by removing all the screws at the back of the keyboard. And you can clean that chip board and all the buttons as well.

try ebay or microsoft shop however it may be cheaper to replace the keyboard.

Replace the keyboard.
Much cheaper than hiring a technician to attempt to repair it.

they don't really make replacement parts for these, its not profitable just a small piece of plastic, you would have to create your own from metal or similiar, or use the keyboard without the feet, or replace the whole keyboard.

It seems like your trying to type into a locked document, which means that your keyboard is working, its not the issue, the issue is the spesific file which is locked, try another document / file or turn off the lock from office settings if you can find it.

I don't think they sell keys, take one from another keyboard or replace the keyboard.

Go to bios in motherboard configuration, sometimes called peripherals in bios find legacy support and enable it. It will help us to know which Dell do you have.

The manual says to go to "Start->Programs->Microsoft Keyboard->Microsoft Keyboard", and from there you can edit the key settings.
