Please help solve my problem with my ir2270 for not recognising toner

Hello sir;The waste toner bottle right in front of the machine, when you open front door you ill see a white bottle remove and dump it out, turn power off and back on.

I'm taking it that you have a IR-2270, not a IR-5570 correct??? The waste toner bottle is behind the front cover... It is in front of the drum unit. It is measured by the weight of the bottle, you just need to empty the bottle and you should be all set.... There is one screw in next to the toner bottle.... The other one is on the top left front corner of where the paper comes out. You have to push the front pannel to the left to remove the cover... Good Luck

How to clean error 000024-01 in canon 2270
E024-0001 Error Code:

Toner gets in the developing assembly toner sensor (TS1) and may be shorting out the sensor. Blow out any toner in the sensor wiring and check to see if measure resolved the symptom. The toner level sensor has an open-circuit, replace the toner sensor.

However, re-attachment of the sensor also solves the symptom.

When the symptom has occurred, make the following selections in service mode [COPIER > I/O > DC-CON] and check the setting for the bit1 of [P021]. If the setting is "1", re-attach the toner sensor.

check the toner hopper .toner is not being fed into the developer module at set rate.clean the hopper by blowing the toner and check the toner screw motor for rotation and do check when u install toner by service mode does the toner bottle rotate.

IR2270 copier displaied error code E000020-000
It's concerning the toner level in the dev unitor drum unit. Try entering service mode and selecting 'install' this will stir toner and try to feed toner through. Could be a dirty or faulty toner level sensor. Cuuld also be the drum life over - check drum life in the service mode. Check my other posts to see how to enter service mode
