Source button does not work The hisense Tv cannot respond to change to hdmi and is stuck on monotv

new batteries. But that won't solve the problem if the universal remote apply other code. when the original remote is applied, you touch the tv icon to be sure you are using the correct parameters. When it still won't solve the problem you go to the ir circuit on the set. the reason may be because of the accumulation of the dust and dirt on the buttons.

How to tune samsung tv

Mono is the first point I am stuck on. Mono is an audio reference but I am going to assume that you are only receiving the analog channels and not the digital. If you are coming off of an antenna then the antenna has to be HD to receive HD channels over the air. If you are off of a cable box then this has to be dealt with from your provider. You will also need an HD ready TV or if you do not you will need an HD converter box to make your tv work with the digital signal.

How do I get a stuck vcr tape out?

Hello,
As far as I examine this model on the web,I discover that your TV has the following features as:
  • Feature: Combination TV/VCR featuring 13-inch TV and 2-head mono VCR
  • Feature: Front AV input jacks for game system; 181-channel tuner for access to unscrambled cable broadcast
  • Feature: 1 video, 1 audio (mono) input in front; RF coaxial antenna input in back
  • Feature: Mono output and built-in speaker; headphone jack
  • Model: MV13M2
This means that you do not have "A/V output" jack to complete your desire..
Sorry about it..
Take care and please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up
for Helping out the Community :)

Hope this helps!

On the original TV remote press the "AUDIO" button until it gets to the option "MAIN" and this should get the stereo sound back.

Left speaker works in all modes except the tv mode

It sounds like there must be a bad connection on that input. Try switching the left and right input cables for the TV and see if you get the left cahannel working. If so, investigate a possible bad cable or output issue from the TV.

Sharp Aquos LC-32D44U stuck in ""Mono"

I dont know if this will work for you, but its worth a try. I had the same problem.

1. I changed to a station that was having the problem (an analog station with MONO displayed on the screen).
2. I unplugged the TV for about 15-20 minutes. (I was thinking maybe something needed to refresh, so thats why i unplugged the tv.)
3. I plugged the tv back in and voila. The station showed up as MONO then immediately swtiched to STEREO.

After that, i was able to use the AUDIO feature on the remote to actually change from MONO to SAP, etc.

Ive had my Sharp for about 5 months now, and thats the first time its happend to me. Luckily, i solved the problem...this time.

Hope it helps.

No service

  • Make sure that you have connected the cable box properly to the TV.
  • Use the audio and video OUT from the box to the TV IN.
  • Select the correct input on the TV.
  • Connect it using any of the following: A HDMI cable (1 cable for both audio and video), Component Cables (3 RCA's red, green, blue) + RCA audio cables (1 for mono or 2 for stereo), S-Video + RCA audio cables (1 for mono or 2 for stereo), or AV cables - 1 RCA for video (usually marked yellow) + RCA audio cables (1 for mono or 2 for stereo).
  • Consult your TV's owner's manual for detailed instructions or ask me for more information.
Hope this helps. :)

Mono Vs Stereo

Here is what I found out. I had this same problem. I have cable TV and the signal coming into my house was not very strong. They 'boosted' the signal and this problem stopped. Along the way, they tested that the cable line had been passing through a splitter, so that to the house the signal was good, but by the time it passed all of the splitters, the signal was not strong enough. Now all is well and the problem does not happen anymore.
