the brix level (syrup to water ratio) may be too low, which will cause it to ice too quickly and cause damage.

Hold down gourmet button until menu appears, then scroll through to find password.

Check the filter in the back of the machine that and the coils are covered with dust.

the filter is on the back of the machine. pull down on the ring and pull the filter out. spray it down with hot water and shake it dry. put it back in. on the front of the machine, there are 3 words below the display. these are buttons. press and hold the 2 outside ones until the filter message is cleared.
