Nothing prints, goes throgoes the motions & sounds like it's printing but the paper is blank

Printer goes through the motions of printing, and it sounds like it's printing but nothing happens and the paper is blank. Tried 3 times with same result. The cartridge is almost full

Sounds like your print head is clogged. Follow the manufacturers instructions for cleaning the print-head.

Goes through all the motions but does not print

Replace your Ink Cartridges. Ink dries up fairly quickly, sometimes only lasting a few weeks if the printer is frequently unused.

Printer goes thru printing motions, but the paper is blank,

Have you upgraded any software recently? I suggest you go to Dell website, download & install new printer drivers. After all, teh printer just prints what the software tells it.

Printing is blank...no ink coming out on to paper

Your printer cartiage will be out of ink.

Or it will be dry cause of not used from long time.

Change the printer cartiage may fix this problem.

Mp 830 2yrs old about 6 sets of cartridges been run through machine. Problem was making a copy off glass 1st no problem start on second copy machine shuts off. Problem in 6-way plug in strip. Moved over 1...

try to see if are nozzles of cartridge or print head dirty and check the purge unit.

The printed image is not fully fused to the paper. The image rubs off easily

Printer not printing

Try this. Push the copy and cancel buttons together for about 3 seconds. Then release. The printer should push a blank piece of paper through. Try to print.
