Turn off the printer, and let it cool for an hour. The problem will return, but you may have the ability to get some emergency plots out in the mean time. The error code has to do with a thermistor in the fuser section. These thermistors are made out of a delicate ceramic and are easily broken or cracked if installed incorrectly. I would recommend that you call an authorized Oce/Canon service representative unless you want to spend several hundred dollars on incorrect, or broken thermistors you may get via other official channels. Each Oce model may have a different rating of thermistor, so just putting any thermistor in most likely will not solve your problem and may cause others.
The NTC 2 is probably shot. These are ceramic coated thermistors and extremely fragile. I would recommend calling an authorized Oce technician to get this replaced.
The Oce TDS 600 is a large format printer made by the company Oce. Error code 23501 on this printer typically indicates an issue with the printhead. The specific cause of the error and the solution will depend on the exact circumstances of the error. Some possible causes might include a clogged printhead, a malfunctioning printhead, or a problem with the printhead cable. It is recommended to check the user manual or contact Oce technical support for more specific troubleshooting steps.
A service operator password will do you no good. The unit needs a cleaning, not a password. Call an authorized Canon/Oce technician for parts and service.
Having the software will do you no good. You need an authorized service technician to load it and configure it, and hopefully restore the old settings if there is a backup.
I would not recommend you opening and cleaning the unit without training. You could cause a lot of damage if you do it improperly causing you money and a lot of headaches. Call an authorized Canon/Oce technician for parts and service.
