I have a cub cadet rzt that the valves are not in sync so it won't start so how can I adjust the valves to get it to run? Does anyone have a video on how to adjust the valves on a cub cadet rzt zero turn lawn mower?

Hello,
I have an idea. Try to start it again. It should start right up. When it dies again, immediately crack the fuel filler cap, and listen for a vacuum. If you detect a vacuum, clean the cap well, and pay particular attention to the vent hole on the cap. If it is plugged, it will do just what you were seeing.
Hope that this helps!.

The transmission is shot. A common problem. Mine died after 3 years and 200 hours of use. Estimate to fix was almost $2000. I scapped it and bought a better mower. There was a rtransmission design defect in the RZT series.

Wire harness for the PTO on the RZT's is designed dangerously near the drive pulley. After time, the harness drops and comes in contact with the pulley which grinds through the coating and shorts out the circuit. Repair (tape up) the wiring, relocate the the wire to the opposite side of the crank pulley (may have to zip-tie in place) - shouldn't be a problem anymore.
