The door will not open and error code flashes up. I have tried turning off the washing machine all night but the door is still closed. Is there anyway of opening the door manually before a technician is called out. It is the Easter hols and unlikely to get it resolved until after the holiday
If there's water in the tub the door won't open, get a shop vac, stick it to the drain hos and suck out all the water, you didn't send the model number so i don't know what you have,if you have the front panel with the opening on the bottom to clean out the pump you can drain the water out of the black hose to but going to the drain hose is faster, get the drain hose as close to the ground as you can so gravity will also help.when you get the water out you can try unplugging and plugging it back in,if that doesn't open the door,if you have the front panel where you can just remove the bottom panel, take it off, reach up where the door lock is and on the bottom there's a round plastic release that you grab and pull down and it will open the door but don't do this until you get the water out or you'll open the door and water will flow out.if you have a solid front panel remove the top panel and you have to reach down and pull on the door release,a little harder than the bottom panel but doable.when you get the water out the door might open the computer board knows water is in there because of the pressure switch so when you remove the water it might open after you unplug it and plug it back in.also if it's not draining check the pump to see if it's blocked, when you suck out the water if it smells badly you're using to much he soap, you should only be using two tablespoons of he soap that's it,if you use more the washer will stink, your rubber boot will turn black like mold and the soap eats at the spider gear,if that goes it's new washer time, you'll know the drum will bang loudly in the spin cycle.hope this helps you out.
SOURCE: I have an Indesit model
It means motor triac failure on control board, You will need to replace the main control board.
Hi Sammi,
Have a look in the troubleshooting guide of the User Manual Should find some information to help you there. Good Luck,
