Sounds like you are having a syphoning issue. caused by having the drain hose too far down the home standpipe. very common problem. test..fill the machine, high water level. when it stops filling turn off. advance into spin/drain for just a moment and shut off. listen to hear water still going down the drain.
repair.. raise the drain hose nearer the top of the stand pipe. also do not tape/seal the hose into standpipe. it has to breath. good luck. kihm washing machine drain hose installation Google Search

there may be a object in one of the hoses going to and from the pump. be sure have you taken the front panel off yet??? If not it has two clips on the bottom on the two sides than the panels swings towards you to unhinge from top. The pump has a clear body and you can visually see an obstruction. Sometimes i find that a metal object coin, etc can actually chew the fins off the impeller. That would be the only reason for it not to pump anymore. Also release the tension on the belt. Maytag wants some slack for the motor to slide on the motor plate proper.

Have a GLTF2940. Error code E20 and E30 came up. Will not drain and spin.
What to do?
SOURCE: water left pooled inside maytag neptune front loading washer
Possible explanation: Some water is left in the hose going up to the drainpipe b/c the pump can only pump water with water, not air... so when the last bit of water is sucked up, it 'stays' just the other side of the pump exit nozzle and keeps the drain tubefilled. This water gradually leaks thru the drain exit valve and back into the machine, sometimes siphoning standing water in the drain trap with it.
The valve is either electric solenoid or plastic/rubber clapper in a cylinder. Your call whether to fix or not depending on ease and cost. Probably a $20.00 part.
Cheers!

Is the drain hose kinked or clogged? Is the drain hose installed properly? look in the installation Instructions, Press POWER/CANCEL to clear display........ hope this helps.....
the Fl code indicates an overfill condition. If the washer is empty, then you likely have a problem with the water level pressure switch. If the washer is full of water and will not drain, you likely have a problem with the drain pump or the washer drain line.
If the washer is full of water, make sure that the washer drain is clear and working properly. Check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. If you find no problems with these issues, I recommend that you manually drain the washer using a wet/dry shop vacuum. Check the drain pump and connecting hoses for problems. You may need to replace the drain pump of water will drain out of the washer properly but the pump will not work properly. A clog in the check ball assembly at the bottom of the tub can also prevent the washer from draining properly.
