There should be a 20 pin connector and 2 -4 pin connectors from your power supply. These should be connected to the mother board as follows 20 pin plus 1- 4 pin to main power connection on mother board,will only go in one way, the other 4 pin will connect to board close to the Processor, all other power connections are for your hard drives and dvd and maybe your video card . The connectors will only fit on one way (all of them, including the one referred to by James Miller above) but you probably do not need all the connectors coming out of your PSU. You motherboard wil probably also have a separate 4 or 8 pin socket for connection to another cable from your PSU to supply power to the processor. The PSU will also have a number of connectors for powering up the hard disks, CD/DVD drives etc. For a more detailed/precise description of how each connection should be made you will need to supply your computer's model (or motherboard number) number.
