so what had been hapening is that it could die depending if it was the battery that could aftfect with this. 24 volt battery, and can be ridden for up to 45 minutes after battery charging. The charge time recommended for this Razor electric scooter is about 10-12 hours after each use.
I have exactly the same problem and it started right around the time the "gracious" 90-day warranty period expired.....
The battery lights had been on for days, indicating a full charge, but nothing happens when turning the throttle. Battery housing is very cumbersome to open, but I'll try to disconnect the battery next.
Lift the rear wheel up off the ground and apply the throttle, while watching the throttle lights. If the throttle light goes from green to yellow or red it shows that the battery voltage is dropping under a light load because the batteries are low in capcity - not holding much charge. Most battery places will load test the batteries free of charge to confirm this. Have a look at the trouble shooting guide here http://www.razorama.com/razor-installation-guides.html and the wiring diagram here http://manuals.monsterscooterparts.com/recreational/Razor/Wiring/
sounds like the battery is bad and not taking charge.replace battery attemp again if not then check for fuel, spark and compression.then c wat happens or wats not working any motor no matter how small or big has to hv those three things to run. hope this helps.
Sounds like too much oil! Yeah it sounds like a switch. You can probably get that thing apart and see what's happening. Have you ridden in the rain lately or trailered it through heave rain? I trailered my Ducati through some heavy rain in North Carolina and washed all the grease out of the throttle, wouldn't even turn. I have a feeling, you have corroded the connection some how, check it out.
