KENMORE OVEN 79047842403 ERROR CODE F14

The F14 error code indicates a loose connection (due to burned contacts and circuit board) between the touch panel and the electronic control (clock). The repair is to disconnect and inspect the end of the ribbon connector from the control and be sure it is connected properly. If the error code comes back the recommendation is to replace the touch panel and if the error code continues, replace the electronic control.

Remember to turn the power off and check the ribbon connector to the main control and see if there is any improvement

How to address F14 code? Convection oven does not start.

Hey friend, thanks for your post!
I see that your Electrolux wall oven is displaying an "F14" error code. "F14" stands for display tail missing, which means you could have an issue within your main control board or keypad. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by flipping your household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue I would suggest seeking a professional to come out properly diagnose and repair your appliance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

I keep getting error code F-14 on Hotpoint condenser dryer model CTD85

Hi.

F14 means that control board does not sense that machine is heating:

F14 - A fault with the water heating has occurred

When you get F14 the fault is usually either the thermistor or the heating element (electric dryer). Both parts are tested removing the part from the dryer and reading impedance at the part contact. If the part returns infinity, then the part is defective. If you need to contact a qualified technician use the phone number listed on your owners manual or check Hotpoint website.

Regards.

My machine shows an f11 or f14 error code and it won't work. What can I do?

Circuit Board Medics can rebuild and upgrade the CCU to eliminate the F11 error and prevent it from happening again. Find more details at http://circuitboardmedics.com/whirlpool-f11-code/
This video shows how to remove the CCU from the machine.

Whirlpool duet washer keeps flashing f14

"F14" is an EEPROM error on the Central Control Unit (CCU). The CCU is the main computer for the washer. This error is normally caused by a power glitch and can be cleared by unplugging the washer for 2 minutes. If the error code reappears, the CCU has to be replaced.

My washine machine keeps stopping through the cycle and flashing f14 what does this mean

The F14 error is an EEPROM error for the central control unit. It's likely you'll need a new CCU board. Check your owners manual, some models have up to a 5 yr. parts warranty on the CCU.

F14 error message

Hi,
First change the fuse. Then if it still isn't functioning properly, you may have to replace the lamp, in which case you should contact a specialist. Details can be found in the Instructions Manual.

Go here:
https://portal.bsh-partner.com/portal(bD1kZSZjPTAwOQ==)/PORTALFRAME.HTM

and enter EB270 and click the Go button.
Then download the PDF file of the manual in English (EN)

Hope this helps :)

ps Someone else on Fixya claims to have fixed the F14 problem by changing the PCB Board, whatever that is.. but there was no further rating or feedback given. That's all I have.. Good Luck!

GE JES1290,

Not sure about an F14 error, but an F4 error is a shorted (or even just greasy) temperature sensor (thermistor). That could cause trouble with the convection and fan, etc. like you describe.

It looks like the thermistor on this model comes as part of the heater or one of the covers, etc.

If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

You can find a very good exploded view of it at:
