Error Code B1275 13

I just received an error code B1275 on my odometer and the viper started moving fast and the hazard light went on by itself. The viper fluid would eject by itself. I think it was a problem due to water leak during heavy rain. any explanation. Thanks.

Fix the water leak first. Got a sun roof? Water in the BCM will cause all sorts of funny things, to included not letting you car start and run. Fix that leak first( Like today or tomorrow), then find your BCM(body control module) , pull it out and remove the cover around it. Wipe it off with a cloth, use a blow dryer and dry it up use the dryer to dry out the plugs also, then wipe it off again with another cloth. You let moisture set in it too long, it could kill it...

SOURCE: I put in a cd and receive and E-00 error code. Is

Hi pcrouthamel, you may have a solution to this, but again you may not.

I have an '04 Ody and also had the E-00 error code when trying to play a CD. There are many suggestions as to what it may be and speculations as to how to fix it. The vehicle manual indicates it's a 'focus' issue.

Here is what I did based on internet research and recommendations and what occured:

1) checked both fuse #9 and #11 (pulled cleaned contacts and re-inserted) -- no fix
2) changed the battery in the Ody (is was due anyway) to address the possible low voltage issue -- no fix
3) inserted a CD, and before it was enter all the way, pulled it back out -- no fix
4) same as 3, but after pulling the CD out, gave the upper portion of the CD player a few firm bangs (literally - crazy I know) -- no fix
5) pulled the dash off (way easier than you may think) and removed the radio; pulled the top plate off to see if there were any obstructions within the unit such as coins or other material; shook it to ensure there weren't things I couldn't see; used a Q-Tip and worked it over the lense to clean it; tried another CD - no fix
6) in addition to 5, just as I inserted the CD for a second time, and while it was fully loading, I gave the heat conductor plate on the back of the radio several firm hits with the heel of my palm -- it worked!!

Apparently, there is more to the 'focus' issue than the vehicle manual leads you to ascertain. Like many DVD and CD players, the laser runs on a carriage. Sometimes this carriage can become misaligned; perhaps from hitting a pot hole too hard. My movement of the carriage while the CD was loading, had put it back in alignment. Now my CD player works.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: sparks, turns over, no start

If the spark will jump a half inch space you are probably ok with that.
My first question is do you know if the timing belt is ok ?
The second question is have you tried spraying carb cleaner or starting fluid into the throttle body to make sure you have fuel ?

SOURCE: error code P1457 2000 Honda Odyssey

this code is sometimes set because of a loose gas cap or a leaking gas cap. the code is set when the fuel vapor management system detects a leak.

2008 pontiac g6 security light stays on t/c flashes then while driving the dash lights flicker and odometer says error.

Odometer
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays a season odometer and a trip odometer. Momentarily press the trip/reset switch in order to toggle between the season odometer and the trip odometer. Press the trip/reset switch for greater than 2 seconds, while the trip odometer is displayed, in order to reset the trip odometer. The odometer is calculated and stored electronically in the body control module (BCM). The BCM uses the vehicle speed information from the engine control module (ECM) to calculate the odometer. The odometer displays 'error' if an internal IPC memory failure is detected. The IPC stores a backup copy of the odometer value incase the IPC stops receiving a valid odometer value from the BCM. The odometer will display 'error' if an internal IPC memory failure is detected.

Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop .

I went through rain water with my fiat 2102 sport and the check engine light came on what do you think it is?

Usually DTC errors such as these will over time reset themselves. When the water eventually drys out and the engine starts reach the reset limit (usually 50 cycles) the code warning light will reset and go off.

But to be sure your local friendly auto parts store will usually provide a OBDII complementary check on DTC codes. with a scanner. They plug in a device under the dash and in just a few minutes will provide you the error code associated with the Check engine light.

You can google the code and get an insight to the problem. The code may no longer be active and the light is staying lit waiting for the auto reset. Codes are either active, the situation causing the code is still a problem, or inactive the problem has occurred but is not currently a problem. If the error code is inactive then it had occurred when you went through the puddle and has corrected itself.

They will usually provide you with the potential sources. They may reset the code and if the code does not reset I would assume that the error was transit caused by the water.

Jeep cherokee1999 dont start,....lighting check engine

Check for error codes. You can do a "basic code check" by turning the key "on, off, on, off, on" (not to the crank position, just to the on position), and watching for codes displayed on the odometer (if it's a digital odometer, codes will be displayed). Then look up those error codes (you can look them up on Google, etc.). Also, many stores like Autozone will do free scans for you. I'm assuming your battery is good.

My 2002 PT cruiser engine rev's itself on idling few minutes when I just start the engine. What could be the problem?

If you have the electronic type odometer at the bottom of the speedo try this: switch the ignition to position 2 but not engine on (ignition on, engine off) hold for two seconds and switch off. Do this three times and check the odometer, it should flash up any stored error code(s), have paper and pencil at the ready. Codes will make diagnosis easier

Sometimes my drivers side break light will not work (and the indicator comes on to show it isn't working) but then it might start back working the next time I start up the car (and the indicator will go...

Since it's only on one side I would assume it's the socket itself. Try using a wire brush on the inside of it and putting a little dielectric jelly in the socket, it could be losing contact. If that doesn't solve it clean it really good and test it with a voltage tester to make sure you're not getting squirrelly current. If it is, check it further up the circuit until you find where it's good and change the wire from there to the socket. Good luck.

Car isn't starting

I was have this problem. Battery is low. Charge battery or use cable to start. You can check the problem using Diagnostic Trouble Code. Cycle ignition key On - Off - On - Off - On within 5 sec. The odometer will show teh P-code for the DCT code number. Error code for low battery is P0562. Only "DONE" displayed on odometer inicates that no DTCs are present (no error) and the procedure is completed. PCM memory has been cleared within the last 50 ignition cycles. Hello from Croatia.

Speedometer

Aha! Found a fix, at least to my problem.

Try pressing the trip odometer reset button for 5 seconds. It will flash an error code. Then the odometer lights will flash, a bunch of error codes flash. Let it finish (my problem was that I tried to start the car the first time before it finished).
