SOURCE: rolex watch yacht master set time

Let me start by saying that I own this watch and LOVE it!

To set the time you need to pull the crown all the way out to the furthest position.

To set the date you need to have the crown in the position in between the "winding" position and the "time set" position. Basically, pull the crown out till you hear/feel 1 click to wind, 2 clicks (total) to set the date, and 3 (total) clicks to set the time. I always set the date first to 1 day behind the current date. I then move the crown out to set the time so that I can set the watch to either AM/PM depending on the actual time. For example, I set my Rolex today (the 5th of January at 3pm - just an example). I would first move the crown to the date setting function and move it to January 4. I would then move it out one more position to set the time. I would go around the watch until the date changed to the 5th and then go around from 12 to 12 to change from AM to PM. I would then move it to the 3 and then I'm all set. This is helpful because it will ensure that your date will correctly change when the day changes and not be 12 hours behind.

Ok so I have a rolex yacht master and I cannot get the 16mm spring band to fit on to connect the watch to the holes. I know it's definitely the right size but I can't get it to fit, it hurts my...

There are special tools designed to do this. Just go to your favorite search engine and type in "watch springbar tool".
Probably the best idea is to take it into a jeweler that sells watches and they will pop the spring bar back into place for free.

The battery is dead

The Rolex yachtmaster is an automatic watch so needs no battery.IF the watch is a genuine Rolex then it needs to, be seen by a Rolex watchmaker to estimate.
www.rolexrepairs.co.uk will provide a free estimate,or give them a call the watchmakers will be happy to advise you.

Bought rolex yacht masater 18k white gold on ebay

Jimmy, Put a Paypal Dispute IMMEDIATELY!!!

also go to search > advance search > get member contact info

How much did you pay? the watch is guaranteed a fake. When Fake watches are made they are all marked 18k because they do not make different parts for ones that are going to be stainless steel and ones that are going to be gold plated.

Rolex watch

Hi tia

If it is a geniune Rolex... dont even think about it!! Take it to a jewellers for repair. Even if it is not, and you wish the watch to remain water resistant, then the casings and seals should be cleaned and serviced, even sometimes replaced when put back together. It is worth it to maintain the integrity of the watch... and make it last:) Jewellers dont charge much for this service
