Tomtom constantly returns to Demo Mode

Hi,

My Tom Tom XL was doing the same. After several minutes it would revert to a demo and you would have to tap the screen to make it disappear, but would come back a few minutes later. I spoke with Tomtom Customer service, and the guy on the phone told me i have to plug it into the computer, go into the tomtom from My Computer, and delete a folder names Scripts. After deleting the folder, it's now working perfectly.

See solution 1, the only thing I'd add is that on my unit it was Script in the singular. The folder just seems to be full of .BMP files.

can you try to re start your TomTom at least it will go to its default Settings.
