My creda mode tcr2 isnt drying my clothes anymore

Hi,

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.

Here is the rest of this tip about DryerMaintenance

Hi, my dryer has heat and the drum is turning but it s not drying the cothes, any ideas please

It sounds like your vent pipe may be blocked with lint. One way to test this is to disconnect the vent hose and let the dryer vent directly into your laundry room for one load. If the clothes dry fast, you know the problem is in the vent pipe. Most vent pipes have a screen near to where they vent to the outside. The purpose of the screen is to prevent small animals from entering. This is usually where the lint clog occurs. Many vent pipes have a way to take out this screen and clean it. I hope this advice helps you out.

Hi and Welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly

You already have discovered the problem. Lint has built up in the vent / exhaust ducting. Most of the time the through the wall vent flapper gets lint build up on it outside the house and then as that restricts airflow you get condensation in the ducting. The condensation causes the lint to form a cake like paste inside the ducting. THOROUGHLY Clean out your vent ducting from the dryer connection all the way thru the outside wall and your dryer will be fine. If you need to replace the ducting please do so. Ducting is cheaper than the electricity you waste on clogged ducting. You proved your dryer will work correctly when you dried a load of clothes with the ducting removed.
