which suggests possible the faulty door lock has been fitted with another faulty door lock. this has happened to me on two or three occasions in different situations.

Check the vent hose and the vent in the house for dryer lint. Excessive amounts will block airflow and the dryer senses that and shuts off the heat to prevent a fire.

Adjust the feet at the bottom or the hinges if that doesn't work check your gasket and the white plastic washer on the hinge

Check your fuses or wirings.

most like cause is the door interlock is faulty but its one of those jobs that unless you have the right equiptment namely a tester you won't know for sure unless you change it. Could also be the voltage from the control board is't correct so best let someone who knows check it for you.

This sounds like a faulty water valve. Water is coming in the cold water valve when it shouldn't. If the machine has an automatic temp control make sure it is turned off.
