The zoom button merely zooms in on the display. It magnifies a portion of the picture so you can get a better look at what you're about to photograph. LiveView or otherwise, if you want to zoom, you have use the zoom ring on your lens (assuming you're using a zoom lens in the first place, of course).
Look for the button on ur remote, that said VIEW MODE or P.SIZE.Push one of those button either one on ur tv remote.Than pick the size of the picture, that fit ur screen.
either your TV or your cable/sat box(if any) is on zoom(enlarging pix). Look for buttons on both remotes that might say picture size or aspect something like that...Pressing these buttons usually cycle thru 3 or 4 size options. When in zoom center of screen is the focus and outer edges of pic are cut off.
The picture size may have been changed on the remote. Try the button that says pic size or something close to that. It must have been switched to a mode which zooms in the picture. That should fix it.
It sounds like Ratio problem. It should be a button on your TV remote and or Cable TV box that will allow you to set the picture size to 4:3 Ratio, 16:9 or FULL Look at your manuals they use sveral terms, sometime they use picture, Zoom or Ratio.
When I turn my camera on, the lens goes in and out a few times. Once it's finally on and I look at the screen, everything is blurry. When I take the picture, it's blurry too. If I try to use the zoom to adjust, the lens starts going in and out all crazy and won't adjust right.
look for a button on the remote control that says, "pic size"," zoom","aspect" and scroll through until you get to 16x9, full , fill screen . i can't remember what this model states on the screen.
I had the same problem and tried everything with the tv to get it back to normal. I would look for what was suggested by tvtek, but also look on your cable remote or box for an "aspect" button. That fixed my problem. If your problem occurs with DVDs as well then you may have another issue, but if it is with cable only, try this. When I called our cable company the tech said alot of people this button without even knowing it.
