Sounds like a corrupted OS install. Could be caused by a number of things like: virus, failing Hard Drive, system lost power while doing an update, etc. Very hard to diagnose such a problem without being in front of it.
if u be able to check the chips VGA and South-bridge, while the board on/working without casing u can fell by touch the chips surface if its hot or warm that mean chips working fine, if not that is make the display blank, if its fine just try to reset hardware Bios.. Good Luck
Heard back from Toshiba. They said to unplug the TV, wait at least 3 minutes, and then plug it back in. This should allow it to reset itself. Sounded too simple, but after doing just that the tv has worked fine for the last three days! Toshiba noted that if this didn't resolve the problem we should contact them to have a Toshiba Authorized service person come check out the tv. It worked for us, hopefully it'll work for you too. Good Luck
do a power reset on the computer. turn off the computer. remove the battery pack and unplug the ac adapter. press and hold the power button for 10 secs without any power source to drain all excess power in the laptop. put in the battery first followed by the ac adapter. turn the computer.
