COMMS_SOCKET_ERROR I am having connection issues, can't make or accept calls. I did the 'reset connection' and the phone powered off, then came on in the 'hands free activation', started the profile update which failed. Error code COMMS_SOCKET_ERROR came up. Tried to update profile later, it also failed and showed error code is INTERNAL. I also have 'Mobile IP Registration Response Error' showing up on my task bar

Its because your network operator has blocked gprs in ur account..

u must subscribe to their plan before u can use it

That call divert comes automatically, did my nuts in today. Anyway just key this code

#002# , then press the green key, then bingo call divert off.

SOURCE: Unable to make and recieve calls

I flashed and flexed the set but to no avail, tried a software update but no update was available from motorola. I then went to the Security settings of the set and restricted all outgoing calls and restricted all incoming calls except the phonebook entries. Then I dialed my mobile using a landline which was on my phonebook and my phone started recieving the calls, then after that I allowed all incoming and outgoing calls. This solved the problem. I believe it is sheer luck because I tried that step earlier on the same day but it gave no result.

Check your connection settings and change the access points
you can change this in your settings menu.

I had the same problem on my K1, and I fix it like this:
- Insert a new SIM card into your phone (borrow it from someone you know)
- Start the phone.
- Type in some number then ring it (press on green button)
- Now when you press green button the phone should show recent calls
- Switch off phone, insert your sim card, switch on, press green call button
- The recent calls will be empty but there

This one solve my problem with recent calls.
