Timing a 13 hp GX 390 Honda engine

I don't see any timing marks on the two counter-balance weight cams, but assume they need to be in sync with the piston.  How is the timing accomplished?  Thanks!

I posted as having a problem timing a Honda engine.  Don't know why it was listed under a problem with a pressure washer.

I believe it is either one but if you are not sure, stick a screw driver in an see if it comes out with oil on it. Does one not have an oil level stick attached to the cap?

If you replaced T30 ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH A GAS ENGINE WOULD IT BE RUNNING THE RIGHT DIRECTION

This appears to be relating to an Ingersol Rand Air Compressor rather than anything in the Honda Garden category? Make Model (What is is) in all questions please.

https://www.indiamart.com/proddetail/ingersoll-rand-t30-air-compressor-electric-motor-driven-tank-mounted-compressor-package-15hp-22929260312.html

According to my research is has a 20HP 3-PHASE ELECTRIC MOTOR. There are some other tihings to consider. When you are running this Honda gas engine, you are filling your workshop with deadly carbon monoxide gas.

Your Honda GX-390 is only 11.7 hp (8.7 kW) @ 3,600 rpm, not 20hp so it is doomed to failure. Also, how are you going to get it to cycle on when the tank needs it.

Take your existing electric motor and get it repaired or rewound. Much cheaper option for a safe working environment and doing the job it is meant to.

Ihave a honda generator with a gx 390 motor volt drops when i put a load on it what could it be

Voltage regulator, carbon buildup in the cylinders, the carburetor may need overhauling, engine governor may have a stretched spring, Spark plug may need replacing, Timing may be off, air filter may need changing, and lastly, your load may exceed the ability of the generator.Checking this list will uncover the loss of power

I installed a new GX 390 Honda engine in a Toro 413 TX machine. Motor starts, idles and full throttle fine, but when hydraulics,i.e. drive is engaged, motor dies.

you have a dingo, ugh
I would suspect a bad pump or wheel motor if the rpms are set correctly and no safety switches are causing it to die...

We need a manual for our pressure washer 3700 PSI, 13 HP-GX 390. How do we get this?

The numbers you have listed are for the engine, Honda doesn't actually make pressure washers but makes the engines. If you are looking for the manual on the pressure washer itself you are going to have to find some other numbers that should be listed on the frame of the machine.

I have a Honda GX 390 with 13 hp power washer. Overheating.

Make sure the engine is not full of paint or dust debris in it's cooling system. If the fuel mixture setting is very lean, it can cause overheating. Make sure the fuel tank vent is open to prevent fuel starvation. Does the engine seem to be running at full operational speed? If not, it will be short on developed horsepower. Make sure the water source is not partially shut off. Hope some of this helps!

Honda gx 390 only starts when it feels like it

Sometimes you have to lower the air pressure in the tank to allow it to run. The back pressure from the compressed air in the compressor head overcomes the pressure created in the engine at the slow RPMs you are able to pull while attempting to crank it.
