They made a few models in 1995. Fill a 2 gallon portable tank. Stay close to marina. Let the boat tank run run out. Fill with the 2 gallon tank. Go to marina and fill it. Or you can measure the volume, L x W x H to get cubic feet, multiply by 7.48.

With its generous 190- gallon fuel capacity and twin outboard power by Mercury Marine, the 2502 is rigged to make short work of the long run offshore.

My Garmin 545s would not power up. I took the unit to West Marine, where they had the correct cable to hook it up and test it. The unit immediately powered up and I purchased a $22 cable and installed it. Easiest test and fix I could come up with. Really cheap fix.

This site used to have a Boat section which would have more interested parties than Cars and Parts do. I would relist to proper area. The Marine parts area is one I happened to get involved with through rebuilding my salvaged Bayliner. You need someone to be a Research Librarian to find your parts. Try using the Brand and if you can find it, then go to specifics.

I would look at the tiny ads in Boating magazines and Boating Trader type papers. When looking for my Volvo outdrive components, I discovered that speculators buy pallets of old stock from Marinas going out of business. They then list some parts on Amazon or Ebay. Unfortunately some throw away cheaper parts that you may need but are not worth it to them to list.

I live in Michigan and had found my parts in Florida and California as well as Kentucky and Tennessee. You will find that some brands are not popular in some states and the makers never had a Dealership in certain states.

I worst situation comes up, there are Boat junk yards similar to car junk yards.

You can get them second hand and often new on e bay but I would check how much they are new from a Dorel distributor such as Mothercare first as sometimes e bay is more expensive! Mothercare have a catalogue in store which they can look through for you giving prices for replacement items, they can order it and you can pick it up from store so no postage costs. Quinny decals are available very cheaply on e bay - I have used them and found no problem, looked great

I recommend upgrading the system software of your GPSMAP 545s to the latest 5.30 version. Find directions and the download link here.

1. Click on "Download" and choose to save the file to your computer.
2. Choose a location where you can easily find the file, such as the 'My Documents' folder or 'C:\'.
3. Once the download is complete, go to the location where you saved the file.
4. Double-click on the downloaded file. This will automatically extract the files to C:\Garmin and run a program to transfer the software update to an SD card.
5. Load the SD card into your GPSMAP 545s and turn it on to replace the system software of your unit.
