Printer cuts off last line of text on document

My HP C6380 cuts the last line of text on my document in half. The document is made in Open Office 3.1.0 and is in standard format. It does not take up more than 1/3 of the whole page so the issue has nothing to do with margins. It prints the whole document but not the entire last line. It prints the TOP half of the line of text but not the bottom half making it unreadable. I checked for updates using the automatic update included with the software and no updates were found. I did a printer alignment thru the printer interface but that did not help. I did a borderless print which did not help either. I printed the job as page 1 instead of All pages, still no luck. Any advice would be much appreciated.

it's not that it only prints half a page...it prints the TOP of the last line and doesn't print the bottom of the same line of text. I will reinstall the drivers and see if that helps. Thanx for the prompt reply

Last print line of any doc printed with HP J6480 is cut off

I had been experiencing this problem intermittently for some time, so I finally got a hold of HP support and with the second support technician, I did get a solution that worked for the document I was printing at the time. When Printing, click Printing Preferences, click the Advanced tab, under the Printer Features section, set Minimize margins to On. Per the technician, 'The printable area of the product increases (bottom margin 12 mm to 3 mm), so that printing closer to the edge of the paper.'

Also, he recommended using the printer's Print Preview option under same the Printer Preferences window. When I did, I did in fact see the document's bottom paper being 'cutoff' with the old settings (i.e., Minimize margins Off), with it On, it look okay.

Hope this helps. Let me know if this works for you.

NOT PRINTING LAST LINE ON PAGE

it could be that the lines on the spreadsheet arent bolded correctly or the spacing at the end of the document needs to be shortened. try to delete one space so that that line is brought up a line.
