SOURCE: Paper Jam issue

Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.)
Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.

If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
Turn the printer off.
Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

SOURCE: 202 pam jam

usually it means that a sensor in your fuser is bad. If you have a P.M. Kit replaced the fuser and clean the printer.

but before you do, make sure that you have cleared all jams, including in the fuser.

Its probably time for a Preventive Maintanence

Use only recommended paper. Paper must be straight and low moisture content. Moisture can cause such problems.
If the problem remains then I ask whether your printer is new or dismantled for repairs?

Canon MP 610 Printer

For hard to reach jammed paper I cut a 1” x 11” piece of 11pt synthetic paper. Then notched a series of V’s into one side. It’s a very effective tool to feed through hard to reach areas of the paper path and clear jams.
I chose synthetic paper since it’s extremely durable and won’t tear off and contribute to the jam issue.

What would cause paper jams in a hp 4100 printer

Where is it jamming. Printer this age could have fuser issues, worn rollers that are not picking up properly. Is the jammed paper crinkled up or does the printer stop before damaging the paper? If paper is not damaged, the cause is usually in the paper pickup slipping and causing the printer to think that the paper is either too long or too short. Clean all the rollers in the paper tray cavity with a damp cloth.

The printer thinks there is a paper jam-when we ask it to print it doesn't "grab" the next piece of paper-it clicks and then give a "paper jam" message please help

Typically these failure-to-feed problems are due to worn rollers - the feed roller is so worn
that it fails to feed the sheet of paper, which the printer misinterprets as a paper jam (because a
sensor tells the print processor that the sheet of paper is not present where is should be, and
therefore the printer microprocessor software issues a "PAPER JAM" error message).

The printer repair tech solution to this problem is to install a "roller kit," which entails the
replacement of every roller in the printer (since they all wear at about the same rate, replacing
just one is less effective than replacing them all).

Your quickie (temporary) solution - get the roller damp (this makes it grip a little better), then
load the paper tray to its maximum (pushing the paper into the paper pickup roller), then print a
couple precious pages while you order the roller kit online, and text your handy geek friend
who can change out all the rollers in your printer for a pizza.

My printer reads," Media Jam Registration" It of course will not print. I think I have cleaned all the jammed paper out of it but still will not work.

The paper registration senor accurator that tell the printer that paper has arrived and left the registration part of the paper flow may be broken (Sensor may be filled with paper dust) the accurator may be jammed.

Paper jam no paper jam D7460

after going through your problem, i think that there is a communication failure between your printer and computer, in such cases, it is common to get false error messages like paper jam, etc, even though there is no actual paper jam. I recommend u uninstall and reinstall the printer driver. Im sure your issue will be resolved.

242.13 paper jam error We cannot find any paper jammed in the paper

hello,

The paper jam error 242.13 can be caused by an actual paper jam in the printer but since you did not find any paper the next thing would be pickup rollers. The pickup rollers can become worn and if they don't grap the paper right it will not more from the tray. There is a sensor that tells the printer that the paper exiting the paper tray and to start the printing. If this sensor does not detect paper when it should be there it gives a "paper jam" error thinking the paper is jammed. Look at the top page of paper for 1 or 2 light gray marks. If you see them then the rollers are the problem. You can see the rollers if you turn the printer on its side and remove the paper tray. To test the pickup rollers you can take off the rubber rollers( they look like white rubber band) from the wheel and turn them inside out, this will work as a temp fix untill you can get them replaced. If you need them replaced we can provide them or you can call a local repair show. I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.
