Do you have an AC charger? if so try to turn iot on when its been connected to the charger for about 10 mins if it comes on when on AC then you will need to change the internal battery/s other than tjhat the circuit is damaged
some models do not have AC chargers

if this is new or under warranty make a claim ASAP as they go out of models so quickly they have a poor warranty system

i have heard someone say that the charger goes in both ways on your model, and that one way it charges and the other way it detects headphones. try flipping your charger upside down vice-versa.

I used to have this phone, and I purchased batteries like 3 times before I found out that I had an older model P168, and the newer model and the older model have two different batteries. But you cant tell by just looking at them. The positive and the negative charges on the newer batteries have switched sides than on the older batteries. (EX. Older +- Newer -+) But when you plug the phone in it should say its charging. If it doesnt say its charging, you might have this problem.

Which charger are you using? The USB? AC charger? Car charger? It should work fine when using the AC or car charger. Using the USB places it in USB mode for programming.
