Where can i find the wifi switch on a dell latitude c400 pp03l

do you mean to turn the wireless on?
I am not familur with the 400 but I think the wireless is on/off by the operating system. at the very least it will be on the key pad.
there are function keys FN that need to be pressed at the same time as the wireless symble on the keyboard. that could possibley turn on/off wireless. then the rest is in the software. it needs to be set up.

If you already have an USB flas bootable with XP on it, plug in into the laptop, and when the laptop starts, press F12. Then you should select that the computer should boot from USB. If this won't work, try to attach an external DVD\cd unit.

You can download the video and device drivers from Dell WEB site,the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop,better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop.
