check your battery connections they are giving a code that something there maybe wrong. For instance cable slipped off or the battery connections. The connections may have been installed wrong, especially if this happen directly after someone changed the batteries. Strege Mobility

The Joystick gimbal has dirt or grim in it, need new joystick.

If its a Shark then fault 8 : SHARK Power Module Fault
Check SHARK Connections and Wiring Replace the Power Module
if its a DX fault 8 : Over Voltage Fault
Check Battery voltage is below 32V Check Battery wiring and terminating is secure

On the back of the chair, there is a lever that dis-engages the drive motor to allow you to push the chair.

Your controller is dirty. Unfortunately, the unit is sealed and you therefore can do other than replace the unit. I suggest monster scooter parts at Jazzy 614 HD Parts The cost is high at $377.00. If you were really into fixing electronics it is possible to take the unit apart and clean the joystick, but that is a stop gap measure until you get your new joystick. Make sure any seating system is completely down and in DRIVE position. When chair is unlocked, wait 5 seconds, shut chair off, wait 5 seconds, turn chair back on. Each time you turn the chair on you need to wait 5 seconds for the POST to complete before moving the joystick.

If chair has a tilt, recline or lift seat on it it may be going into lock-out mode on its own due to a limit switch fault. If you don't have any of these options then I suggest you remove the joystick, controller and any wire harness between the two and send them to a shop like mine for repair.
The usual lock out light chase is from left to right - not right to left so this is suspect of a different issue.

This is another Pride Jazzy / Quantum motor issue. The wires that feed the motor break inside the insulation at the point of entry into the motor.
As a used chair there is no warranty to you, nor are there any recall protections.
Your motor(s) need(s) to be replaced or rebuilt.
